Arezzo by Vasari

Arezzo and the Arezzo area offer the opportunity to appreciate the uniqueness of the Tuscan territory, discovering villages and monasteries in unique landscape contexts. Giorgio Vasari, born in Arezzo, left many works in his city inside the parish church, in the Badia delle Sante Flora and Lucilla, in Piazza grande and at Casa Vasari. Leaving Arezzo we can find traces of it in Monte San Savino, in the heart of the Val di Chiana and in the Church of Santi Donato and Ilariano, at the monastery of Camaldoli, immersed in the Casentino. The trekking excursion through beech woods and forest trails within the National Park of the Casentinesi Forests in the area of the Hermitage of Camaldoli represent a heritage of the Arezzo area.
