Arezzo and its surroundings offer the opportunity to appreciate and enjoy the uniqueness of the Tuscan area, discovering villages and monasteries located in unmatched landscapes. Giorgio Vasari, born in Arezzo, left many works of art in his hometown that you can find inside the Parish Church, inside the Badia delle Sante Flora e Lucilla, in Piazza Grande and in Casa Vasari. Leaving Arezzo, we can still find his traces in Monte San Savino, in the heart of Val di Chiana and inside the church of the two Saints Donato and Ilariano, in the Camaldoli monastery, located in Casentino. Hiking through beechwood trees and forest trails within the National Park of Foreste Casentinesi in the area of the Camaldoli Hermitage that represent the heritage of the Arezzo territory.

How the journey is structured...

1° day

Breakfast. A whole morning dedicated to the visit of Arezzo and its connection with Giorgio Vasari, including churches, squares and Casa Vasari. Lunch. We will move to Castiglion Fiorentino, a village in the heart of Val di Chiana, where the artist left his mark. Dinner.

2° day

Breakfast. Visit of Camaldoli following a hiking trail. Free time for lunch. End of the activities.
