Stay in Casentino: the mysterious places of Dante’s Divine Comedy

Dante's land by the Arno River. It’s a green lung with medieval castles and Romanesque churches. Dante, inspired by so much beauty, composed numerous poems there. Two places of high spirituality - La Verna and Camaldoli - arise "embedded" in this territory.

Day 1

Lunch in the restaurant. In the afternoon we will go through Campaldino, theater of the battle fought in June 1289 between Aretini and Fiorentini, in which Dante also took part.
