The beauties of Florence: visit to Opera del Duomo Museum

The complex includes: the Cathedral and the Crypt of the church of Santa Reparata, the Opera del Duomo Museum, where you can admire the original portals of the Baptistery “The Gates of Paradise”, the Baptistery with splendid mosaics, Giotto's Bell Tower and Brunelleschi's Dome.

How the tour is structured...

At 09.00 am meeting with the guide in front of the Baptistery and transfer to Opera del Duomo Museum for an inside visit. In the rooms of this spectacular museum are most of the masterpieces from the Duomo Complex. In the Paradise Room, recently inaugurated, you can admire the scale reconstruction of the Duomo facade and the original portals of the Baptistery, including the Gates of Paradise. Afterwards you will visit the Baptistery, the mosaics ceiling, covering the internal dome of the Baptistery; the cathedral including a visit to the Crypt of the ancient Santa Reparata and the Giotto’s Bell Tower (external). At the end of the visit you can choose whether to go up on Brunelleschi’s Dome or Giotto’s Bell Tower, or at last on the Duomo’s Terraces.
