The Renaissance city is enclosed in its walls which still surround it today and which can be walked along the avenues that are located at the top of the ramparts. Walking along the streets that lead to the Cathedral, you enter the heart of the city and discover ancient churches, tall towers surmounted by trees and the Piazza Anfiteatro whose houses take up the circular shape of the perimeter of the Roman amphitheater.

Plan

At 9.30 meeting of the participants in front of the Old Porta San Donato. Meeting with the guide. Visit to the most significant monuments of the city: Cathedral of San Martino (admission included). External visit to the Doge's Palace Piazza San Michele in Foro with internal visit to the church of San Michele. Basilica of San Frediano (admission included). Amphitheater Square. Torre delle Ore and Torre Guinigi. A walk on a stretch of Renaissance walls will not be missing. At the end, stop at a room in the center for tasting wines of local production.
