How the itinerary is structured...

1st day

Arrival of guests in Siena and check in at a boutique hotel. Meet up with the guide and visit of two world-famous villages, surrounded by medieval walls: San Gimignano with Piazza della Cisterna, Piazza del Duomo, the wonderful Collegiata and the frescoes by Benozzo Gozzoli in the Church of S. Agostino. Transfer to the Castle of Monteriggioni, a jewel of the period. Dinner at a typical restaurant. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

2nd day

Breakfast at the hotel. Guided tour of Siena town as a free Commune during the Middle Ages; historical and artistic guided tour inside the Palazzo Comunale in order to visit the monumental cycle of frescoes with profane themes such as the Good and Bad Government by Ambrogio Lorenzetti and the Majesty by Simone Martini realized in the North wall of the Sala del Mappamondo. The visit is completed by visiting the museum complex of Santa Maria della Scala, whose maze of tunnels provides an insight into the history of the city. Medieval dinner at a restaurant downtown.

3rd day

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Florence, a wonderful city that experienced its greatest artistic splendour in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. This guided private tour will take you to the most significant historical and artistic sites of the city: from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi's dome to Piazza della Signoria with the 14th century Palazzo Vecchio and the Ponte Vecchio. Coffee break at one of the most renowned Florentine cafés and continue to the Oltrarno districts with Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens to enjoy a visit of this famous park with Italian gardens. Aperitif and dinner in a Florentine restaurant. Overnight stay at a hotel.

4th day

Breakfast at the hotel. Spare time along the most renowned shopping streets of Florence. Termine dei servizi.
