In the morning, meet at the railway station of Figline Valdarno and start of the tour. Visit of the Pieve di San Pietro in Cascia and the Masaccio Museum of Sacred Art which houses the Triptych of San Giovenale, the first work painted by Masaccio. Continue to the new Terra di Castelfranco di Sopra and visit the Badia a Soffena, rich in fifteenth-century frescoes. Lunch break with tasting of traditional cuisine. Visit of the historic center of San Giovanni Valdarno, designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, and of the Museum of the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, which houses one of the wonderful announcements of Beato Angelico. At the end of the visits, accommodation in the hotel in the reserved rooms. Dinner and overnight.

2nd day

Crossing a unique landscape such as that of the gullies eroded in the geological eras, locally called Le Balze, pictured by Leonardo da Vinci, until reaching the village of Loro Ciuffenna. The Ciuffenna stream sings in every corner of the town crossed by gorges carved by the water, which feeds a mill and has smoothed the stones used in its sculptures by the twentieth-century genius Venturino Venturi, a native of the village. Visit of the nearby Pieve di San Pietro in Gropina, a masterpiece of the Tuscan Romanesque. Lunch at Loro Ciuffenna. Return to Figline Valdarno station. Termination of services
